Sad news

My great uncle (who was more like a brother to my mum) and who I was quite close to every time he was here in UK has just passed away. He died of some heart bypass complication. He was actually younger than my mum, and has come as a complete shock to the whole family. Anyone who knows me know I'm not at all close to my extended family. He however

Aww thanks all for the lovely hugs (so wish they were real ones). I'm cool though, my great uncle wouldn't want me to be too upset. I only wish there was time for me to fly over and pay my respects to his wife and 3 kids. He'll be honoured at the funeral by MANY people. He had won a lot of bravery medals for his service to the army. I'll certainly miss his presence when I'm over for a cousin's wedding in Pakistan next year. Next time I'm out, I'm going to toast a drink in his honour.
