but this is about HANNAH so.
Mayyyyyy kind of has a habit of playing Big Sister to younger friends she makes in the Nexus (though unlike Reilly, she doesn't feel a need to on the role - and in fact feels a bit uncomfortable in it) and Hannah falls into that category. For the most part, May likes her - it's fun to have someone to be a GIRL with - but if pressed, she'd admit that Hannah freaks her out a little. She tries not to be judgemental but Hannah is more violent, and more honest about it, than May is used to.
She gets that Hannah's situation is more extreme than she could imagine, and that Slaying's not quite the same as killing, but she does feel pretty passionately on the 'no killing' and 'no need for excessive violence' things. So sometimes this makes things awkward. As a superhero, she's more of a rescuer than a fighter and this is one way it shows.
May worries about Enzan. A lot. In case those GIANT GLOWING NEON SIGNS of worry weren't clear enough. Like I mentioned in Hannah's comment, May does have a tendency to play Big Sister to young heroes she meets in the Nexus, although she's not quite comfortable doing so. And, um, Enzan's superhero life was super-dangerous. Frankly, the whole Robin things bothers her a lot. She received many lectures from her Dad along the lines of "kids these days are too young to be heroing... and don't get a sidekick because if they get hurt, IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY".
Aside from thaaaat, May thinks Enzan is Adorable with a capital A. She's really quite fond of him, even if she wishes he had less... alarming friends. Despite the awkwardness of how their friendship came about (lol hi i am banging your friend), she's kind of glad that she can be one of the rare Non Bat "normal" heroes in his life. Also teasing him about Hannah/anything is pretty much the best thing ever.
