[ RP with Alexa, MJ, and Task - search for Reilly ]

May sits on top of a ceiling, a few miles away from the Parker house, waiting for backup. She keeps looking at her phone every few minutes, waiting for Taskmaster to get back to her. She keeps checking the skies for Alexa and MJ -- or maybe Reilly

"Lead the way, Spideykid." She pads behind May keeping an ear out to their surroundings. Not wanting to alert the police or security.

May heads for the elevators, thinking she's really glad that she's wearing gloves, as she pushes the buttons. "You don't mind heading back to human for a sec, do you?"

((Wow, my bad. I just now realized my comment wasn't posted.))

"Not a problem." As she says that she shifts back to human and leans against the wall, glancing around.

Then the doors open, and the elevator music starts. Groan.

"And now, we begin the boring part of the night."

[mjtigress]

She snickers. Leaping up to tap the speaker in the elevator to set it to start popping out Maydays favorite station. It would take a moment to tune in as the thought pops into Mays head.

"So want me to magic you up a disguise?"

[webstunner]

"Oh my gosh, that is so cool! And a disguise might be good, just in case."

And with that, the doors open.

[mjtigress]

She faces May and stares at her as her lips twitch as she speaks silently. She puts her hands on Mays shoulders. "Take off the mask."

When she does her costume would appear to change to others. Tight jeans. Nice expensive shoes. A silk blouse. Diamond necklace and bracelets. Hair shifting to be blonde. Blue eyes. Subtle changes to her face so she looks like another person.

She blinks and shakes her head. "Phew. That should last an hour at most. If you want it to go away put on the mask and say Illusion Be Gone. You put on the mask and the illusion goes away till you take it off."

"Wow, MJ. Thanks."

Not that either of them would know it, but thanks to the illusion, Mayday looks a bit like Felicity Hardy.

Time to storm the offices! When the get off the elevator, the girls might notice that one of them has been left wide open.

She grins and winks. "Lets Roll." She heads out of the elevator and glaces to each door looking at the names and such.

"Tyne," May whispers. "Why is the door...?"

WHOA! Her spider-sense is going nuts! "MJ, duck!"

[tyne_dyed_devil]

WHAM! WHAM! WHAM!

One after another, flaming billy-clubs are hurled through the office of Reilly Tyne. By the hands of...

"You've broken into the offices of Reilly Tyne. As an associate, I'd like to request that you please leave."

A flaming Darkdevil.

((This is not the real Reilly, just one of his many flaming constructs. FYI.))

In the blink of an eye shes shifted back to weretiger form and puts her arms up infront of her face to block the billyclubs. Slight wince as they hit.

"May! Fire extinguisher! Water! Something!"

[webstunner]

"MJ, are you okay?"

Fire, fire, fire -- oh my god, fire...May tries webbing the flaming DD. Oh, SMART MOVE, PARKER! Except for the part where that doesn't work at all.

[mjtigress]

"I'm fine! Douse him!" Shes doing her best to block the billyclubs from going past her. Chunks of flaming flesh occasionally flying off. Healing soon after.

[webstunner]

May does do one thing right -- webs the billyclubs coming at MJ, and throws them back into the flaming DD.

Then, she stops moving for a moment. It's time to listen to her spider-sense.

Another moment passes, then she punches the Flame-Darkdevil in the chest. Her hand passes through the illusory flames, and grasps the handle of the top drawer of Reilly's desk. Which is where he happens to keep a bottle of water for times like this.

She scowls as she looks over her healing arms. "He scuffed my fucking webshooters!" She heads over towards May and the illusionary Darkdevil.
