Yesterday I had a shoot with photographer Allan Barnes who uses the “Wet Plate” Collodion method, a process that is over a 100 years old and is fascinating from start to finish.

No Photoshop…no filter…just me:

Thank you! I agree, it looks so different than any Photoshop filters I’ve seen used to create this effect. It also surprises me that my eyes look black, it looks like I have contacts in to create that illusion! strange!

Thank you! Yes you can see so many small flaws and strange phantom aberrations when looking at the glass in person, it is really fascinating!
