You know the giggles you can get at 3 a.m. when you're so tired that everything's funny and you don't even know why you're laughing but you can't stop and can't breathe. That's what I've got now. As far as diseases go, vaccinating against HPV is in the best interest of the community as a whole.

I'm sure you'd have MMR vaccines banned as well. :-P

I'm very interested in the whole HPV thing. To me, it is a vaccine against cervical cancer, which is awesome. The only successful vaccine against cancer. Nevermind how the virus is transmitted. I want to know more about what you think.

Well, I'm just horrified that they seem to be assuming that these girls are having sex, and then that they're not making boys get the vaccine too, since Pan and I wikipedia'd it and boys can get HPV too.

Also, I'm still not sold on the idea that HPV CAUSES cervical cancer. It seems to me that it only makes you more susceptible to it, not one = the other. But I'm no veterinarian, what says you?
