So, it's official.

We told 'em today that we're leaving for good at Christmas Break. It's kind of sad and yet relieving at the same time.

Also, I didn't step on a gecko today.

So, there's a basketball tournament at the school today and tomorrow. I just found out that our school colors are orange and blue. I assumed, since the uniforms and everything else at the school are white and blue, that those were our school colors. But now that there's a tournament, we need orange. Okay, Copan. So we took a school bus for three hours through the mountains and past little towns. The mountains were beautiful, and I saw some pigs. All you need to know for now is that I accidentally asked a taxi to take us to the "parque de aviones" instead of the "parque de aves." Yes, that's right. Instead of the bird park, I wanted to go to the airplane park. But he knew what I meant, so it's cool.

I'm making banana bread muffins. Which is a banana bread recipe in a muffin tin because I don't have a loaf pan. The house smells like heaven. Heaven wrapped in a banana smothered in sugar and bananas. Mmmmm....
