Lesson learned for the morning: Sulphur dust in eyes is particularly painful and should be avoided.

Note to self: Use monogoggles next time you airspear a hopper full of sulphur.

Apparently so.

However, I was wearing safety glasses. For the most part they were adequate. But they still allowed particles around the side. And yes, I should have considered that and taken alternative steps.
My only other defence is that it happened at 04:30, so fatigue may have been an issue with my decision making.

For the record, I've been wearing monogoggles each time I attend to that task since then.

Incidentally, I'm more keenly aware of deadly gases present than flying sulphur dust, but I really should be mindful of all dangers. Not just the ones that the company harps on about.
