This probably makes me the best choice for Panco's table, since I do not want the Kaeru doujinshi but will want anything Hinekure. (I haven't read past the first chapter, so why do I think Hinekure is the best thing since BL was invented? Watch the frog doujinshi be the best thing ever and completely flip the manga.) Anyway, Kaeru was available fully scanlated and I had the same reaction you did re: lack of romance but was somehow less moved by his work plight, since it seemed it was mostly in his head and/or carelessness from his senpai? Maybe the senpai needs a boyfriend who can teach him how to say things nicely.
Can't wait to read Eigyou Nika! (Yay, Kinokuniya!) I wonder if I can stay awake long enough to make sense of it tonight?

Ha, it will be if you don't get it! (Just kidding. maybe)

Of course it was all in his head, but that doesn't make it any less distressing to him. Honestly, parts of it were a little painful for me to read because they hit a little too close to home.
On the other hand, why should someone be expected to do an awesome job at something they hate but were transferred into against their wishes? Ugh, Japan.

I would totally read that.

But right now, my sense of "workplace" bullying is defined by Mayuzumi. So while froggy was distressed, it was in his head and he has a prince and all. Mayuzumi has real issues and a really mean boyfriend until episode 73. Also, I'm guessing the translation doesn't convey the froggy voice as well as the original Japanese, which may also have an impact on how I read Kaeru.
I didn't want the Eigyou Nika! discussion to disappear into chat, so: I believe this is the cutest, sweetest manga I've (picture) read since Kanda Neko's Otokogokoro series nearly two years ago. (And considering how much I like Sick, I think that's saying a lot.) I can't believe we're going to be lucky enough to get doujinshi for this, and I am so grateful you are all over Comiket right now. Toujou! *heart*
Next time I'm having a crummy day at work, I'm going to try telling myself, "well, at least I don't work with Akashi," and see if that helps. (I hope this technique doesn't make me laugh in the face of someone annoying.)
...Joking aside, however much of Frog's problems (I forgot his name already, sheesh) are in his head, overhearing people make fun of you sucks, end of story. That was NOT in his head.

If so, it wasn't a translation issue, it was a typesetting issue. There's nothing weird about what he says, just his voice, so sometimes the font would look funny to convey that.
re: Eigyou Nika - It is SO adorable. Toujou is the best boyfriend. (Do you think that's Ayumu in the Comiket circle cut? I'm not sure. I mean, I think we will at least get to buy the J Garden one, but I'm hoping the Comiket one will be them, too. I guess we'll find out soon enough.) [spoilers, I guess]I love that everyone in the division (except poor clueless Kachou) has figured out
