She really is. And what I said to her, was that while I know when she says things like that, she is tonally implying that she completely approves of it, and I know that. And, as in the dream, frequently she's the one who makes it happen.
It certainly wasn't morose. But then, all my dreams are wish fulfillment, according to her. Like last week, when I spent the whole dream just snorting coke and downloading mp3's.
I'd love to do a meditation retreat like that cos I can be superstressed sometimes, but I am really trying to save my money for grad school and doing a terrible job of it, I wonder if meditation would help me with that. my friend Bryant once tried to help me with Shaolin meditation (where you visualize colors in tw-minute sequences) but I just couldn't do it, which made me think I had ADD, too.
I keep thinking that maaaayyybe I wanna try it, but, uh, flames is how I feel on the inside, always. Am I afraid to be at peace? Nah, I just don't knowed it.
yeah, I feel the same way about it. ideally I'd just like to get myself into a martial arts class, so I can meditate and kick ass. but maybe Zen-ing out would also be the way to go, as it might help me let go of the desire to purchase a pair of $200 cowboy boots.
Jennifer refuses to learn kung fu because she thinks she's not coordinated enough, and then she rides her bike the 10 miles to and from work during rush hour.
