Hey, Ozan. I went to the Shenandoah Valley, I wonder if that place in the mountains is anything like that. Damn, I'm gonna buy acres.

Real estate is hell expensive in the Burg, but you could probably find something really pretty and less overpriced in Craig county or Eggleston if you don't mind the drive and living in the actual sticks.

This is the most beautiful and blatantly human anything I've read in a while. I've missed you. Be well, you. xo.

Thanks, mane. It didn't make any sense to write about anything but right now, I guess. Miss you, too, and everyone, I did.

Sounds like you have butterflies over getting into a strange new environment... one with PEOPLE in it but NOT MOSTLY ASSHOLES.

You'll be fine and ou'll sleep soundly again. And get some practise on the guitar in. Win-win all round.

Keep being excellent.

p.s. have you heard from ourharbours recently? He's gone quiet.

I ain't heard from him. I'm not worried about shit, which is so weird; I'm just, you know, living, rather than having the constant sinking feeling of death that my whole life can fall apart any second. It's so priceless, that kinda peace.

3 things:

-I love you, Eran. You've meant a hell of a lot to me this year, even when you weren't anywhere near the rest of reality. Your life has had more value to me, and probably a lot of people, than you can possibly suspect.

-It's so damn good to hear from you.

-Dav and I both want you to visit, here in Montreal. It's a good city. It breathes. Come and play sometime.

This has not been, in any way, a clever comment.

Thank you for calling me, sweetie, yuh have no idea how much it meant to me, cuz I was thinking about you, too, and couldn't even will myself to pick up the phone. I love you, too, and I just had to take some time to reconstitute; this last year was pretty fucked, in retrospect, but meeting you would have made any year worth it. I would love to visit, and now I can travel, and.... yeah. I'll call you as soon as I pay my phone bill, when I get paid on Friday.

I was thinking about what you'd say if you were there when my friend was giving me the mental tour of Argentina. It sounds motherfucking fantastic. Graffiti for the president? A feminist pacifist in charge of the army? Sitting around for hours sucking down insanely caffeinated tea? Meat? Drama? I'm so fucking there. Fucking hell.
