In my program, there are two groups of people--the youngsters just out of college, and the mid 20s-30s married or in-serious-relationships people. I'm definitely in the latter category, even though I'm younger than almost all of them. Married people don't talk about china patterns any more--they're cool

I think it's great you're applying to only one grad school. I did the same thing! It did cause an enormous amount of stress the two months before I got my acceptance letter (because OH GOD what if I didn't get in?), but it saved me a lot of time and money. Plus I got to focus and spend more time on that one application.
Aside from the wedding stuff, I feel the same way... though I am actually IN grad school, I still feel like I am spinning my wheels and don't quite fit in an obvious social group at UGA... and I constantly forget that I am only 23. I feel like I am supposed to have it all figured out and be an adult, and then I laugh because I am still such a kid.
knitting, eh? I work at a knitting store in Athens. It's a fantastic way to keep my hands busy :)
