Jemaine Clemaine posinglikeaswan ♥♥♥♥♥ Jemaine’s finally come around (mostly…there’s still a few things that have yet to be said) and Bret’s happiness at this ending is evident in just about everything he does. Sure, they fight-but Bret’s pretty sure that’s completely normal. After all, they fought when they were just friends. The only difference now is they usually have sex when they make up rather than just kiss. That came out wrong.
Cassandra of Troy cassie_of_troy ♥♥♥♥ Bret is finding more and more similarities between Cassandra and his older sister every time he talks to her. He’s glad she approves of his relationship with Jemaine, but he isn’t sure whether he’s meant to return the favor as far as her relationship goes. Maybe if he had enough nerve to ask if they’re sleeping together, he’d have more reason to be concerned. As it is, he just thinks they’re a cute couple and hopes that Cassandra feels he is supporting her as much as she is supporting him.
Cherry Reyer cherry_reyer ♥♥♥♥ Bret’s adjusted fairly well to the fact that Cherry doesn’t remember him the way he remembers her, and is, in a way, taking advantage of that. She’s once again a confidant and friend that he can go to with things that other people don’t understand-or just take too seriously. Cherry’s one of those people who’s got a talent for cheering Bret up, and he really appreciates that.
Cho Takahashi tenuefarfalla ♥♥♥♥ Cho remains one of Bret’s best female friends, but now he knows that he was severely in the wrong to assume he could hook her up with Jemaine. Now the only issue of concern in their relationship is if he ever finds out how the date wasn’t the only thing she helped Jemaine with.
Cordelia Estwynde cordy_estwynde ♥♥♥♥ Bret and Cordy have drifted apart some (no thanks to the time shifts and relationship drama) but she is still one of his best friends and he values her involvement in his life immensely. He still goes to her for advice and comfort-maybe because she reminds him of a time when Rowan was simpler and their biggest concern was getting thrown in jail.
Jack Harkness fixdpointintime ♥♥♥♥ Jack will always have a special place in Bret’s heart sexual history, but Bret has begun to wonder if maybe the experimenting he did with Jack wasn’t the brightest idea, in the end. It’s yet to be seen how understanding Jemaine is capable of being, and this worries Bret a little.
Cris Gainfly creaoi_ang_cor ♥♥♥ Bret’s never had any problems with Cris, and since his relationship with Cassandra appears to be going well, Bret is reassured that his original assessment was correct. Lovely guy.
Grace Falls maybeunorthadox ♥♥♥ It took a bit, but Bret’s finally starting to understand Grace a little. Or well, he thinks he does, anyway. She sticks around, so obviously she doesn’t hate him as much as she claims. And she’s started showing genuine interest in his life, even if she often makes fun of him in the process. If only she’d let him do the same for her. The showing interest, not the making fun.
Sam Lowry not_even_dreams ♥♥♥ Because Bret recently discovered he has more in common with Sam than he realized, they may become closer very soon. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances, Bret feels more than a little pity for the poor guy, so it’s possible Sam will want nothing to do with him. Luckily, Bret is persistent.
Ariana Matthews eyeofthepsychic ♥♥ Ariana’s a little nutty (and a kid) but Bret feels bad for her. He hopes that his intervention about the fire helped, and if nothing else, at least he gave her an iguana, right?
Demyx melodyofwater ♥♥ Demyx and Bret haven’t hung out in a while, but Demyx is always cool. Bret enjoys the time they do spend together. He’s also very grateful for that lift home after New Year’s and the help with getting Jemaine’s bass.
George Oscar Bluth II (G.O.B.) remove_alldoubt ♥♥ Bret doesn’t mind Gob too much, really. It’s just that he’s a little afraid of how he goes about the whole wizardry thing. He does like how happy he always is to see him, though.
Ianto Jones guns_and_coffee ♥♥ Bret isn’t as afraid of Ianto as he was before. Now he can see that he’s one of Jemaine’s best friends and he’s really glad that his own past with Jack hasn’t seemed to taint that. He’s glad they’ve made up, even if he wasn’t exactly aware they were in competition.
Penny showhertheway ♥♥ Bret’s come to discover that Penny is really a very sweet lady. He wishes he knew how to help her get over Billy, but otherwise their relationship is pretty normal. Except for the singing. Which Bret thought was kind of cool, actually.
Bonnie McCullough blytheandbonnie ♥ Bonnie seems like a nice girl. She might be dating a vampire though. Bret’s a little worried about her and her pretty neck.
Cedric Diggory cedricinshadows ♥ Cedric and Bret haven’t talked much, but Bret’s glad he’s helping Jemaine with his magic. And not dead from a head wound.
Irmingard of Landing minthemagician ♥ Bret likes her, even if she’s a little weirded out by him. He wishes he could have anywhere near the amount of control she seems to have over her magic.
Margaret “Reed” Thorne likeanancydrew ♥ It’s been a bit since he’s talked to Reed, but Bret generally finds her a little abrasive. That’s about it.
Taryn luckycatthief ♥ Bret can’t tell if Taryn likes him or Jemaine or not. She does visit an awful lot though. She’s also a (suddenly) giant talking cat, and for some reason that continues to weird Bret out a little.
Gabriel Chambers gabrielchambers ! Gabriel punched him in the face, said he wasn’t real, was mean to Cho, and then kicked him out after his shepherding lesson. Bret doesn’t know what to think of him, but every time he does, his face twitches.
