*claps delightedly* WIN. I adore Ibn Hanna. He reminds me of Book from Firefly. =D And ANTHEA! WITH A GUN! I am unreasonably attracted to her, I swear. Hee! And Mycroft! Being all BAMF and pining for Lestrade! =D *approves*

Thanks for the encouragement! Ibn Hanna is based on an ACD character. I would love to write more about Anthea and about what a BAMF you have to be to keep Mycroft out of trouble. Hmm.

Oh wow. WOW. There was so much going on in this story, and yet it all came together so perfectly in the end. It's so satisfying!

I'd love to give detailed comments on the new installment as a whole, but good grief, at the moment, I'm overwhelmed by the awesomeness of investigative!John, the sheer blinding brilliance of Anthea (talk about BAMF!), and the delightful discovery that all of Mycroft's stalking of Lestrade isn't sinister threat or overactive gratitude: it's pining! Trust John to cut past the crap and tell him to make a move, while Lestrade's still around to appreciate it ( ... )

Thanks for more kind and insightful Morgan-comments! You are doing a good job of keeping me thinking about what I am actually writing ( ... )

Oh, if they ever do decide to update ILLU, I hope it comes out even half as good as this. Wonderful!

Much thanks! Do other writers find that they are now reading and watching TV/movies, differently? Writing makes us predatory, but that may be a good thing.

This was a lot of fun! Crazy action, and Anthea with a gun, and everyone but the bad guy escapes mostly unharmed - what more could we ask? Oh, yeah, incipient Mystrade as well!

Thanks! And even the bad guy ends up less damaged than in the original. As for Mystrade, Mycroft is being uncooperative, but I'll get back to work on that.

Marvelous! Case!fic, BAMF!John, doing his own investigating - and telling Mycroft to get a move on, already! Wonderfully written :D

Thanks! The contrast between John's and Sherlock's investigations has been a lot of fun for me.
