Wow, this is fascinating! So many possibilities... I like the glimpse into Anderson's life, his kids, etc. Delia Anderson was an interesting character, too.

SO MANY SKELETONS IN PEOPLE'S CLOSETS!!! Damn!!! Only makes it all the more complicated - motives, opportunities, relationships - and Delia was filing for divorce!

I like that Sherlock's wardrobe, like his food, comes from someone who owes him a favor.

Hope you post part 2 very soon, I'm dying to see how this turns out.

Much thanks! I have just now posted chapter 2 (link at bottom of chapter, above comments). I was trying to come up with a way for Sherlock not to be either independently wealthy nor financially dependent on Mycroft. I actually fiddled around with answers to a whole lot of silly questions about secondary and tertiary characters, and that seems to be how I write fan-fiction! XD
