so the creepazoid who stole our ladders and money earlier this year stopped by the other day to let us know he had seen some unsavory guy creeping around our house and just wanted to give us a heads up. Really? More unsavory than yourself

Dang, I hope no one ever has the misfortune of meeting up with you after breaking into your place.
OTOH, it sounds like the dude you couldn't see at the door would perhaps be a good ally some day. He wouldn't be so brazen to come to your door if he didn't think he'd already hooked up with unsavory characters in the past, y'know?
