hahaha, i totally DID appreciate those! and then i read them to my mom, and she laughed almost as hard as i did.

the hummingbirds one is my favorite too. my mom laughed for about....7 1/2 minutes after that one :)

Oh man, Douglas Adams is like, the GOD of these. One of my favorite quotes from that is, "An expression of deep worry and concern failed to cross either of Zaphod's faces." He has the best way of saying stuff ever!
