I really like where you are going with this article, it sounds very intriguing and you definitely have a strong point to make. I suggest sending Ashlin an email, she may have read up on some of the British pop culture and might be able to steer you toward some good books. Good luck!!

I just wanted to say that I absolutely agree with you about what you said about men. Because it is sadly too true. It's kinda like when, for a story I'm writing, I had to look up about male domestic abuse (from females - not in a homosexual relationship) and it was making me really sad because there are a lot of men who never say anything about it because the idea of getting beat up - physically and emotionally - by a woman isn't the image they're told to put out for the world. Because also, if they admit they were abused by their wife or girlfriend, a lot of people think it was their fault because "they started it" or "did something to deserve it". Which also means the hotlines and help centers for abused men are considerably low compared to the ones for women. Certainly did make me want to do something ( ... )
