1) If you are genuinely interested/concerned about someone, you will be able to remember most of what they've previously told you about themselves. True or false?

2) Brian Phillipe "Head" Welch, one of Korn's guitarists, gave his life to follow Christ this year! Whoo!! Another drug addict set free and restored. His is such an amazing testimony, you ( Read more... )

Listen more and pay more attention to the details... hmmm. Yeah i guess! Sometimes people can appear as if they're listening but actually not be listening =l I'm well guilty of that =l

Yah praise God!!! =D

haha...IF i come to study there?...hehe...

i relaly would soo love to do that...but i think it's one of those things that would be a great thing but probably not happen...:(...but i could do a study abroad program at whichever uni i'm going to go to...we'll see!!...maybe God will open the door for me to go there! hehe :)

but i've heard soo many different things about going there to study...duck said that unless you're doing a medical degree you shouldn't go there but then wayne said that the medical degree thing there isn't good or something like that...i dunno?

BUT...even if i don't study there you HAVE to come visit!!!!...:)

Yah... the medical degree is a bit strange. It's rated one of the top medical schools in the UK, yet it's somehow easier to get into than into other schools around the UK. Plus, some people say that the PBL (Problem Based Learning) system isn't all that good... i dunno.

Have you thought about what you wanna do after school?

Meheheh... Yeah i'd love to come visit!!! =D

1. Yes, I think that's true.

2. I read about that when it first happened. I saw it on a guitar-enthusiast web site. Most of the people who responded on the site thought the guy was lame for leaving Korn to follow Christ. "Pfft!" to them! >__<

1. Really? So d'you remember most things about most people? Is it not hard if you're meeting a lot of people and they tell you a lot about themselves?

2. =( Yeah it's so sad that most people don't get the greatest gift on earth =_(

Yes, I remember a lot of minor details about people...if I'm genuinely concerned about them. If it's someone I met in passing, like, at a gathering with tons of people, and we chatted briefly, I might not even remember their name. But if it's someone who's told me quite a bit about themself, and we had a good conversation, I'll remember things like their name, birthday, job, company they work for, school they go/went to, their dog's name, where they grew up, etc.

Sometimes I send random birthday greetings to people I met just a couple times, and we're not even close, and they're pleasantly surprised that I remember their birthdays. =)

Hmm, I guess you'll remember most details about the people who are important to you. The major details, anyway. I think it's easy to forget the little things, sometimes...my best friend is one of my favourite people in the world, and even then I sometimes do forget small things about her. Like Zara said, it's probably more down to our memory playing up than it is to a lack of caring. Can't imagine it's down to a lack of care/interest on your part, anyway :)

"Can't imagine it's down to a lack of care/interest on your part, anyway" Hmm thanks for the vote of confidence! =) But i'm not so sure about that. And sometimes it's not the bad memory thing, sometimes i actually just switch off when someone is talking to me and don't realize it till about 2 minutes later... eeks.
