about 5 or 6 weeks ago, i got the call from my mom to tell me that my grandmother had terminal cancer. at the time, we thought she would at least have a few months to live. a couple of weeks later, i went home for break and spent a lot of time with her. she's the only grandparent who i'm really close with, so it was hard for sure. when i left

i'll be fine. it still hasn't really hit me yet since i'm 3000 miles away, distracted with a lot of work, and birthday surprises that my roomies/gf did for me today.
