Soon enough he's following Villiers over towards the puppy, who has got more excited since the tree climbing than the jerky. Playtime noaw!
Just ignore the fact that he's highly amused by Miniver's fear.
"Ah, Cheevy, didn't see you there," he calls over, waving a hand vaguely between the aide and the poet. "Villiers, Miniver. Miniver, Villiers."

And, of course, Villiers just has to laugh at the situation. "It's safe to come down now, I think," he says, looking up with a smirk.
So. Cheevy, or Miniver? Cheevy Miniver? Miniver Cheevy?

"Oh um, hi. Chiff's told me about you." Miniver grins, a bit shyly. He reaches a hand for Friedrich to sniff.
Friedrich is not as scary when Miniver knows damn well who he is. And he's not charging.

Friedrich's mostly been distracted by Villiers and the attention from him, but even with all the scritching, he still spares a sniff at Miniver and keeps up a heavy wag of his tail.

"Really," Villiers says, turning his head to glance at Le Chiffre questioningly before returning to Miniver. "Well, he hasn't told me about you." A snort of a laugh, and a turn back to look at Le Chiffre again. "But you told others about me? I didn't know you cared," he says, sarcastic and amused. And teasing, of course, because Villiers just damn well feels like it.
