RP: With Villiers and Miniver Cheevy

Though a complete hassle sometimes, dog walking is sadly essential, and has drawn out two patrons and an excitable puppy. It's not too cold out, but there is a chill in the air, so Le Chiffre has a mid-length coat on over his suit and hands stuffed into his pockets ( Read more... )

That? Is worth owning a dog for. Just for that moment.

Soon enough he's following Villiers over towards the puppy, who has got more excited since the tree climbing than the jerky. Playtime noaw!

Just ignore the fact that he's highly amused by Miniver's fear.

"Ah, Cheevy, didn't see you there," he calls over, waving a hand vaguely between the aide and the poet. "Villiers, Miniver. Miniver, Villiers."

"Pleasure," Villiers says as he kneels to wrap an arm around Friedrich, pulling him back from the tree, making shushing noises and scritching the excitable pup. Soon enough, he calms down, or at least diverts his attention over the Villiers for the moment.

And, of course, Villiers just has to laugh at the situation. "It's safe to come down now, I think," he says, looking up with a smirk.

So. Cheevy, or Miniver? Cheevy Miniver? Miniver Cheevy?

Miniver topples out of the tree. The little falcon soars down rather more gracefully.

"Oh um, hi. Chiff's told me about you." Miniver grins, a bit shyly. He reaches a hand for Friedrich to sniff.

Friedrich is not as scary when Miniver knows damn well who he is. And he's not charging.

Le Chiffre's still chuckling lightly as Miniver finally comes down, and it's moments like this that make him realise he does love that puppy sometimes.

Friedrich's mostly been distracted by Villiers and the attention from him, but even with all the scritching, he still spares a sniff at Miniver and keeps up a heavy wag of his tail.

And so, Villiers releases Friedrich once it's clear that Miniver isn't quite as terrified as he seems. At which point he quickly turns around and demands scritchings from the other person.

"Really," Villiers says, turning his head to glance at Le Chiffre questioningly before returning to Miniver. "Well, he hasn't told me about you." A snort of a laugh, and a turn back to look at Le Chiffre again. "But you told others about me? I didn't know you cared," he says, sarcastic and amused. And teasing, of course, because Villiers just damn well feels like it.
