Wash it all away

I needed to write this down to get it out of my head. No one has to read it. I know it's not very good, so please don't make fun of it. I don't pretend to be a writer.


I want to wash my ugly away
I need to feel the water run over my face like acid
And enjoy the burn hoping it will make the pretty come out
I want to sear the ugly off
And peel it all away
I ‘m going to shave my fat
And feel every worthless drop of me fall to the ground
I need to watch my ugly go down the drain
The person I hate, the me I don’t want
I want to wash my ugly away
… and pray there’s someone I like better underneath
