Job.

Now, on top of Mik's sister, two other people (thankfully strangers, this time) have flaked out on my boss and I don't get it. The hours are great and the job is pretty uncomplicated. I start school in a little over a week and she'll be screwed if we don't find someone ( Read more... )

*sigh*
It's always like that! One available, interesting job and I cannot get to it:(
They call every day with amazing jobs from everywhere but the city I live in. This morning it was in Ottawa..heh.
I hope someone that works honestly and hard realizes how great this position is and take it!

awww, cocotte. :(
i went through a lot of dead-end leads before i got this one, so i know the frustration all too well.
and i hope so, too! i really don't get it... some people didn't want to come in for an interview because, "ouin, mais c'est l'ete". come on!

!!WTF!!Where are people work ethics? This attitude only means one thing: they don't give a shit and they don't really care for the job. I haven't worked in recruitment a long time, but long enough and in high volumes to see that people that actually want the job will absolutely want to be interviewed, will show up on time and will try to make a good impression. That is the minimum expected!
Heh..

i work for a real estate company that, in turn, works for a large condo company. my official title is: condo hostess. i answer emails, show the condos, and do a bunch of other, light office work.

we need someone to go between the condo project near metro cadillac and the one in ville-emard (one bus from lionel-groulx) but i believe you'd be more often in ville-emard.

the office opens at noon so you can do whatever you want the night before and you're done at five, so you can still have dinner outside the office. :)

the salary will have to be discussed with my boss because i know that for more than $10 an hour, she marks you down as contractual and you're responsible for your own taxes.
