After all this time as a fan of K-pop I have finally completed my first ever cover version!!!! EEK!!!

It's the song "You" by Beast. At one stage I was going to give up on this because I thought I'd never get a decent recording but I managed to finish it tonight with only a couple of mistakes in it I think so here I am posting it...I had to keep my ( Read more... )

I haven't figured out yet what I'm doing next for definite, I have a couple of possible collaborations with friends in the b2uty_cube community in the pipeline, and just this week a friend was suggesting I do something from DBSK too...but On Rainy Days might be a good one to try out too!
I will definitely plan to do more, I posted this over at b2uty_cube too and got a way more positive response than I'd expected ^^ so I decided I need to do a bit more ( ... )

ahhh I've listened to this about a billion times, but I just decided maybe I should comment this time LOL

YOUR VOICE IS SO PRETTY!!! I envy people who can sing cuz I just sound like a poor dying animal haha. Listening to this actually helped me learn the words! It's a bit slower than the original, so it's easier. I now know the whole song! Excluding the rap parts OTL darn you Junhyung and the complicated Korean language. But I like how you substituted =]

Is it you that's playing the guitar as well?

Haha, sometimes I listen to songs for a while before I even register whether I understand them properly or not these days since I'm so used to listening to foreign stuff 0.o
