I don't know why ANY pizza delivery driver wouldn't carry a gun. Also I'm disgusted how several major pizza chains have polices that require their drivers to be defenseless as they bring pizza and cash to strange locations

Of course that's a really rough decision, but personally I'd weigh my chases of my piece getting discovered by an employer/employee with the chances of me being in a situation of needing the piece to defend my life.
I'd further augment it by making the gun one of the pieces that are REALLY easy to hide away like a subcompact revolver, or the micro .380s or 9mms.
I've also seen a guy on youtube who is pimping his smartcarry, and shows how well it hides a piece by putting on a Midsize Glock, then taking off his shirt and wandering around the room wearing just his running shorts.

It is all up to the individual - just trying to explain why I came to the decision I did, and why other drivers do the same.

Yeah, my life is more important than my job. Depending on the job and area in question I'd definitely carry regardless of company policy. What they don't know won't hurt them, and I'd rather be alive and fired than dead because I didn't carry.
Remember, as Breda said, "Carry your gun, it's a lighter burden than regret."
