A question for you and yours: inkmark January 15 2009, 14:34:40 UTC
Well, first, yeah, life is about to MAJORLY change. It's a good change, though. :) I'm excited for you!

I'm visiting DC in the next few weeks. Do you have any suggestions that a young bi intellectual guy may enjoy, aside from the usual places (Dupont, the Smithsonian, etc.)? A neighborhood to browse, a restaurant I just *have* to visit?

Cool- whereabouts are you staying?

I would recommend Busboys and Poets on 14th St, especially for brunch. The Smithsonian American Art Museum/Portrait Gallery is a wonderful museum, one of our favorites- the Portrait Gallery usually has good exhibits going on. You might also want to catch some good community theatre in DC, tends to be cheaper but still very good for the mostpart. Georgetown is good for shopping. Oh, and stop at Hello Cupcake when you're in Dupont ;-)
