I think there's another side to the use of furs, but I'm very sorry if any of my entries about sometimes using furs and bones ever offends you. It isn't everyone's cup of tea shall we say.
It's not the use of....even I have a fox's skull on my Anubis shrine....it's how they were acquired. There are so few wolves left in the wild, it hurts to think of them being shot purely for their fur.
My dad works on the railway and found the fox had been hit by a train. He buried the head (the only bit left!) and then dug it up for me months later. I was only 6 when he gave me it and it has stayed with me ever since. I had a fake human skull next to it until the cats broke the skull. They were nicknamed Fox Mouldy and Dana Skully! :)
In the case of wolves specifically, in some ways it is a good sign that you can now get furs/claws/teeth, etc. It means that the population, once so close to being completely gone, has returned in sufficient numbers that moderate (and moderated) hunting is now being allowed. I know thats a difficult way of seeing it, but I believe that is the truth behind it.
