Jan 01, 2016 15:02

People outside the technology industry don't quite understand the scope of Ian Murdock's contributions to the world. The internet is a big place. It has about a hundred million servers on it. Can you talk more about the significance of antifa at CCC? Was this an infiltration that happened over time or have they always been there?

Feminists and antifa have been flooding in. It wasn't always like this. The feminist thing started in 2011 or so, with the Ada Initiative, but has only lately got really bad.

Antifa stuff started in 2013 or so, and is just now getting really bad. It's definitely a new thing.

There is a French movie about the Antifa that as been released in 2008 (chasseurs de Skin). It talks about antiracism gangs that were going on punishment expeditions against Skinhead in France in the '80. So the antifa phenomenon could date as far as then. It's a new thing in the U.S, probably due to its left leaning ( ... )

White tribalism on the other hand seems to make more sense especially considering the anti-white political climate but I see no reason to be a white nationalist considering the servile mentality of many whites who in the name of "just doing my job" have betrayed so many good white people ( ... )

The energy industry doesn't innovate anonymous February 19 2016, 23:18:55 UTC
To be fair, energy has innovated substantially. The fracking boom (driven by technological advancement) is why oil is cheaper than milk, and gas is below a dollar a gallon in some places.
