[Video clicks on and there for the network to see is the face of one very annoyed Englishman. He's not pleased with his current surroundings, and it's clear he's newly arrived in Discedo.]

All right, what the hell is going on here? I assume this is some sort of communication device, certainly seems to act like one ( Read more... )

[Don't mind the purple haired girl who looks like hell; she's getting over a really bad cold. She looks like she just popped her head out of a blanket.]

Hmm? You're new? [Sniffles.]

Yes...if by 'new' you mean 'lost' then, definitely.

[He peers at her.]

And you're sick.

[Normally, she would blink, sputter and start wailing all over the place. Being sick makes her cranky and stuck on a different planet does as well. Pay her no mind.]

What gave that away?

[Sneezes into the pillow then looks at camera.] What does the place look like?

[Deadpan] Your inability to keep your brains from coming out of your nose.

It looks like a city, but not one I've seen before, and it looks like shit.

[Skeptical look thrown the direction of the device.]

Monsters? I'm not afraid of monsters, seen enough of those, thank you.

[Still, he's heading into a random nearby building.]

Well Owen, it... looks like you might be in Discedo. The world is known as Fortuna. {He sounds polite and friendly enough.}

The whole, "supposed to be here" or not thing kind of depends from who's perspective. The scientists need us here but no one believes they should be here.

Except maybe me, but, hah, I've been here over two years. After that length of time you just kind of settle in.

Two years?! Bloody hell...a different world, that's great. Just brilliant. All right, well,if you've been here so long, does this place always look half abandoned and broken down?

Wish I could give you better news friend, I really do.

Afraid so, seems like whenever we start fixing things something has to show up and ruin it or a natural disaster tears it down.

There's never good news anymore.

Guess that's just part of the shit that gets thrown in life.

I am sure you're already being told, but you are in Discedo. ( her speech is a little stiff, and her accent is very thick, indicating that Hungary isn't a native english speaker. Who'dathunk? )

Yeah, 'Discedo', 'Fortuna', 'bomb', got that much. Scientists are the reason I'm here, need us all for something, not certain what, and the people here are spread out right now. Miss anything?

There are enemies also. Monsters, and demons.

Ah! Demons, I missed that one. This place just seems to get better and better with each second.

That's what I hear. By the looks of this place, I can see why.

Most of the people have traveled to other locations, it wasn't as deserted a few months back.
