I've mentioned before that I work on an island, and I think that I have also mentioned that the 3 1/2 mile causeway onto that island is being replaced.  Last Thursday it was announced that heavy piledriveing and other construction have caused serious crack in the "C" span (closest to the island).  Cracks that are actually inches long, deep and wide

Thank you...I am actually proud of me too! I have been on the South Beach diet for about 6 months. I've lost 44 pounds and want to lose at least 30 more, heaven help me! Excercising too. Blech!

With School Choice, kids from off-island can attend sanibel School, which goes up to 8th grade now. Stupid causeway!

The causeway is supposedly fixed as of today. I'm still carrying my window basher. I have a ways to go for the 12's to be comfy, but I am happy! No skirt????? WAHHHH!!!!
