I just want to cry. It would be so much easier if I could cry. As if somehow by letting those salty things go, this unrelenting pain could go with it and leave my chest some peace.

I feel fooled, and I think I know why. At this age the world tells us we're indestructible, and we like the believe it. We can do anything that we set our minds to; we can rule the world, and all should bow to us; there is none greater. We can do anything. And then we find our beliefs shattered. I think nothing good can come of a bored and stoic mood. At least not in writing. Hunter S. Thompson's dead for all you people who don't remain au currant out there. I got to read some of his stuff. That would be sad if the guy killed himself just to boost sales. Lord knows it works though.

I couldn't resist. It truly has been a while hasn't it? I don't know what caused this lull. Maybe it signifies that I have nothing real to write about and I'm just settling into a nice deep rut. The bad thing about big weekends like that last one is the amount of content it has. It took me three long entries just to get down the general story of it.
