what is it with the religious right? if i were in the US and kept hearing about the "happy holidays" thing and "intelligent design", i would be upset everyday. is there nothing better to do over there? if only people would just channel that energy (and money!) into

you ever read God's Politics by Jim Wallis? I feel like that guy has his religion spot-on...talks about how the biggest issues religious people should care about are poverty and then peace. Says that there should be constructive dialogue to reduce the number of abortions, not fundamentalism. Awesome.

if you break down the root of the word, holidays = holy day

so its really the same thing, except even MORE christian!

so i dont know why certain christians are so upset over the whole matter :p
