what is it with the religious right? if i were in the US and kept hearing about the "happy holidays" thing and "intelligent design", i would be upset everyday. is there nothing better to do over there? if only people would just channel that energy (and money!) into ( Read more... )

you ever read God's Politics by Jim Wallis? I feel like that guy has his religion spot-on...talks about how the biggest issues religious people should care about are poverty and then peace. Says that there should be constructive dialogue to reduce the number of abortions, not fundamentalism. Awesome.

ok, but when will i see you again? i think i'll be in L.A. by 2007 if not before...we'll just keep in touch i guess. who knows, i might see you again in hong kong or something!

yknow whats funny about the "merry christmas" vs "happy holidays" thing?

if you break down the root of the word, holidays = holy day
(thank steven colbert for that one. have you seen that show yet?)

so its really the same thing, except even MORE christian!

so i dont know why certain christians are so upset over the whole matter :p
