I went to church this morning hopeful for a great service. When I got there though, it was very dull. My spirit felt troubled and empty. My only release and fulfillment came when I picked up the guitar and played during praise and worship. Once that was over though, I felt empty and troubled once again. i've felt like that too a few times in tha past. there was time i actually got up and left cuz and i drove around for a bit and i ended up finding myself at another church i go to sometimes if my church isnt have service at night or something. And i got there and i listened to tha pastor there and it was exactly what i needed to hear...but yea i hope next week is more uplifting for you to..i'll pray for ya :)

I nearly got up and left this morning as well. But I had an obligation to the praise team there. I felt much better though when I got home and played some music on my computer :) I got what I needed after spending some time in prayer. Thank you for your prayers though :D I appreciate it a bunch.

I understand how you felt.
I felt the same way yesterday morning. With all of the troubles recently, I was looking forward to the worship service Sunday morning but no one there except for me seemed to be looking for his presence.

My fulfillment however, came later in the day at the park when I had some time just the Creator and myself.

Don't worry if fulfillment doesn't happen right away. Believe me I understand but, you have to function on God's time not our own.

hi.. u don't know me and this is dated a while back.. but i just wanted to say i understand how you felt.. i was that way at my old church.. i love the worship and sermons at my new church.. we sing and sing and pray and there is no time limit.. just do as God moves you.. beautiful thing.. I know it has been awhile now, just wanted to say thanks for understanding. I ended up leaving that church and now I'm at a new one. I play bass and trumpet in the praise and worship and I love it! I've written some new songs that are meant to help with situations like this one and hope to have them recorded soon. Thanks again, God bless!
