Dave, I have heard Christians say bless you on several occasions.
Such as, a man gives a poor Christian a loaf of bread. The pauper replies, "Bless you."
You see, the possibilities are endless.
I say bless you when people cough.
The real thing we need to argue is why people find the phrase "Thanks but no thanks" acceptible. When written, the phrase "No thanks" should actually be written as "No, thanks" or "No. Thanks." It is literally saying that you thank someone, but decline their offer. Thusly, "thanks but no thanks" is a somewhat insulting phrase. Too many thanks; not enough declination.

in the beautitudes there is "Blessed are the meek and lowly"
and technically you are a Christian since you are an ordained minister.
so put your money where your fucking mouth is or get off the pot.
also, since you were the honorary Master of Ceremonies, you would be the MC.
