Welcome to the Last Push 2013 Weight Loss Challenge sign-up post. I've called it this since this will be the final comp of 2013 and a last chance to shift some weight before we see in 2014.

This challenge will last five weeks and runs from Sunday 24th November until Sunday 29th December. Each weigh-in will be on Sunday and the charts will be posted on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. Please note that there may be some disruption in posting whilst I am away seeing my family at Christmas.

Your weekly goal can be anything you like but you will need to remember to respond to the weigh-in posts including whether or not you met your goal. Previously we have had a variety of things such as work out for 30 mins x times a week, meatless Mondays, lift weights x times a week and no more soda!

If you are able to, please spread the word about this challenge.

Just a last note - a few people asked about giving a monetary reward to the winner. We haven't tried this before, mainly because weight_comp is and always has been run on a voluntary basis and we don't have any sponsors. If someone wants to look into this for next time please feel free but in the meantime hopefully everyone can use the health benefits gained from losing weight as a motivator.
