an update on life

I haven't done an "update" in a while, and you know how much I love to remember the drama of life. My aunt Joyce was supposed to help me out with a loan for a car. She ended up giving Erinn a car for free... that Erinn then let her friend drive and he crashed it (hahaha talk about a zero-tolerance policy on the learning why you shouldn't let other ( Read more... )

Jason, yes your mom may not be dealing with things the 'best way' in your opinion...but have you ever stopped to think about things and stop blaming it all on your mother? Not all of it can be her fault.

jesus, what happened to the Jason we all used to know and love?

this is a big part of why I don't bother updating often anymore.

Did I say everything was my mom's fault? As for what happened to me, I grew up. I'm wiser, smarter, and a better person. I'm applying myself musically and have set a direction for my life choosing to get my MBA.

Well since the car loan isn't an option, how about quitting the pot and the drinking until you've saved up enough money to take care of a car and get insurance? It's not like you need a new car, you could probably get a used one. I'm pretty sure if you started saving now you could have one by the summer. You could also move into the city, considering your rent isnt amazing enough to merit living out in the middle of Minetto, and walk to a job or take the centro until you save up for a car.

Just because they gave Erinn a car doesnt mean they owe you anything, no one owes either of you anything really. You're almost 20, it wont kill you to make a few sacrifices to get things you want. It's called adulthood.

Oh and when I say "no one owes either of you anything really" I don't mean it like "you both suck and should be shunned" I mean that for everyone. It was nice that they gave Erinn a car, but that's just it, it was a nice gesture.

i know and I know. good suggestions, working on them. As for me being almost 20 and it not killing me to make sacrafices for what I want, I know. I don't want a car though, I need one to get to my job without inconveniencing my dad all the time.
