To those of you (if any are around here :P) that have been wondering what I've been doing lately...

I'm writing original crap right now :D

With familiar faces.

Not the real beginning but works as a starting point )

I don't think it's just Rakky, I spotted a few more familiar people in this text. :)

The Sea Witch with a personal quarrel with wizards is suspicious, and, of course, the Pale Count. Last time I saw him though, he was educating a certain little muck-covered ugly about "skelly-rocks". ;D
Damrath seems vaguely familiar, but I might just have confused it with another "names-with-th-sounds-in-them-to-make-them-sound-more-fantasy-like". :P

Indeeeeedz :D

I don't think I've used Damrath anywhere, he's as archetypical evil warlock as you can get (and sooo embarrassing to Rakadra).

So I'm guessing he has some kind of title like "The Evil Arch Overfiend Hell-Lord of the Grimdark Darkbad" or something, then?

Although we all know that Scarytown is where the real party's at. Depending on when you go, of course. ;)

Nice starting point. I don't recognize the naga, but the orc seems a bit familiar. And then there's Collins, who I don't have a clue where you pulled him from. :)

Anyway, smooth introduction to an original world and enough plot hooks to interest the reader, so it's a promising beginning for an original work. I wish you luck as you continue.

Lillian is kinda what you get if you combine Dor'ash and Sarah in one person (without said character imploding...) XD But they will appear too, later on. Collins is another WoW-original, but he hasn't been as prominent. He's the bodyguard of Thomas Southstone, the (nice, Theramore) diplomat in Diplomacy. Thomas is also in this. I've transplanted those four into an original story, pretty much.

Glad you like it, I'll post some more at some point :)
