A few things to update. First, the job is going pretty good, I've started driving and time flys by. Plus we've been shut down alot bc of weather the past couple of days and it's awesome just hanging out in the break tent and talking and getting to know everybody ( Read more... )

First of all, why would you want to work with your roommates anyway? Especially if you cannot wait to get out of there, not to mention they are louder than I am... and that is saying a heck of a lot... or it used to be anyways. Second of all, materialism sucks. I say this knowing someone is going to shove something in my face and call me a hypocrite, which they have every right to do... but there are so many things more important than material things. Making $60 an hour is great seeing as how its 10x what Im making... but if you dont like what youre doing... its going to suck a heck of a lot more than working $40 an hour. And where the heck can you make this kind of money?? Strippers?

Ohhh... he is talking about one of them career jobs... not just a job while he is finishing school and stuff. But still, its the principle of the thing.

Oh... and why would you pass up $40 bc you THINK you want one that might possibly pay $60... take the sure thing... but I still say it seems shady that you could make that much $ an hour. Bijal is weird.
