I just I have to say that Tami was wrong. She said that Walk the Line moved slow...I saw last it night and I think if anything, it moved a little fast. Sure it's 2:16 long, but it's a biopic that spans 25 years. I thought it was a great movie, best all around acting I've seen in a long time...and if Reese Witherspoon doesn't win the oscar on Sunday ( Read more... )

All I was saying is that I thought it moved slow bc I knew he was gonna hook up with June. I wish that the movie was less Hollywood ending with the guy getting the girl and more his real life. I guess they wanted to keep him as a rebel rather than go into what happened after him and June married.

The movie was based on Johnny Cash's autobiography, so if he didn't put what happened after they got married in there, then maybe it was a part of his life that he did not want everybody to know about...even if they already do. He did get the girl in real life...I guess they wanted to show how he became famous and not so much of what he did later on, after all, it was 2:15 long and adding more stuff in the end would have dragged it out. You can't put somebody's entire life story in one movie, especially someone like Johnny Cash, I think we saw the part that he want's to be remmebered by.
