Hi, I am new to the community. I have a 3 year old going to be 4 this May Weimaraner named Ronan. I will post pictures of him when I get home tonight. We pay about $39 for 35 lbs. It is on the expensive end, but I would rather pay more for food that isn't going to cause my dog to have ear problems the rest of his life. According to his vet many dogs have allergies to Corn and Chicken, and yet we feed them foods with lots of corn and chicken in them.

Mythral came to us with an ear infection, and it flares up from time to time - usually if he's been around treated grass or has gotten into peanut butter (he's allergic to both). Helo on the other hand has only had one ear infection which was just a few weeks ago. The vet thinks he might have gotten something in his ear while running around outside. But yeah, for dogs with recurring ear infections, once you know what causes them, they're very easy to manage.

I have a 5 year old weim that has horrible chronic ear infections. We have to flush his ears regularly and give him steroid drops to help with the inflammation. We have switched diets many times but to no avail. I will try the Blue Buffalo that you suggest to see if we have any luck.

he is getting to the point where he is scratching his ears so much he is losing fur behind them and some of the skin on his face is becoming scaly and dinosaur like. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know
