my family just had a dinner discussion on the actual meaning of the word 'misunderestimate', that is, to underestimate someone or thing for the wrong reason. Later we discussed the possibility of forming contractions using other contractions, such as he'd've, meaning he would have (he + would've = he'd've).....does anyone else's family do this?

contractions are strange enough as it is.
contractions such as "would've" sound so much similar to "would have" that the matter only lies on which forms sounds more aesthetically pleasing.

my mom, this morning: "Katie! I'm so happy! Charlie [referring to my dad] got my alarm clock thing out from under the toilet! I'm SO EXCITED! WEeeee!!!"
me: "..."
mom: "OMG SO HAPPY"
dad: "Yeah, it doesn't really take much to make her happy, does it?"
me: "what, no, i mean ... how the FUCK did your alarm clock get under the toilet!?!?"
And that is a fairly typical morning conversation at my house.
