600, but not here.

Not even one of the 600 Starbucks stores announced for closing across America is located in the state of Rhode Island. This is an outrage! Surely they can bulldoze at least one. What are we doing wrong???

Some great people, my family members and friends included, are employed by RI Starbucks. I, for one, am thankful that they aren't losing their jobs like so many others in our country. Maybe you could try thinking of it like that, instead of being so negative.

I cannot think of anything so positive as being negative about the monumental rip-off that is Starbucks! I have no doubt that good people work there. That alone does not compel me to be kind about this megalomaniacal hydra of the coffee bean.

on the bright side: those great people now have great barista skills that they could probably use at other better coffee shops.

Dunkin Donuts still has the monopoly in RI, though.
I feel like I never see Starbucks, but Dunkin Donuts is everywhere.
