I would help you in that revenge. Maybe not gleefully, but still, I would assist.

And that makes you a better man than I Vince. I'd enjoy it. Actually, I wouldn't, but I would set out to enjoy it. I'm a sick man.

I don't think it's sick. I would be glad for there to be one less person to be around that might hurt my babies.

For heaven's sake, Dave, STOP READING THIS SHIT. It does nothing but make you hate. Why do you do this to yourself?

I'm going to have to agree with Esprix on this one. There's a reason I don't willingly read in explicit detail about every horrible and cruel thing in the world that happens. I'm sure I would go insane, and that's not an exaggeration.

Humans can be terribly evil animals. I know this for a fact. I personally don't need daily reminders of that, lest I get brain damage.

Or worse, ideas.

You know Alan, I was thinking about you when I wrote this entry, more specifically about what you said to me last week. And you're right. I agree. 100%. I'd love to stop reading this stuff, just accept that the world is a nastier place than I want to admit and go on about my day, blissfully ignorant about what's out there ( ... )

First, I don't know what you're reading, dude, but I don't run across these kinds of stories, like, ever, and my main source of news anymore is the AOL homepage. You seem to find them like a pig finds truffles. Maybe you should change your news sources or some of the regular sites you browse? I don't know.

Second, it's not about blithely ignoring the ills of the world, but hyperfocussing on them is only giving you ulcers and uncontrollable rage. These are not healthy things.

Finally, take some of Bryan's advice, 'cause it makes sense to me, and I hope it does to you.

We just worry about you is all.

Another thing... justplainbryan May 20 2009, 16:35:04 UTC
I'm going to be a little bold here, so if it crosses the line, I apologize.

You seem to be dwelling alot on these types of stories. Specifically, though, you seem to be dwelling alot about how you desperately want to punish "the evil-doer father". Not being any kind of trained psychologist, I have no idea what to read into that, but it's worth thinking about why you're dwelling so much on this in the first place.

Good point. Agree totally. Why this is getting to me now? No clue. What I can do about it? Other than ranting here, you got me. Any suggestions?
