I use Sony Acid...downloaded it off a torrent...works great!

It's an open source project, no stealing or copyright infringement. This runs like a champ, even on 10 year old pc's. It's easy and has a great feature set. Just download and go...

Even better, I realized after seeing the Sony Acid that it was a paid program and didn't feel comfortable downloading it through torrent...so I didn't.

yeah.. I'm wary of torrents and limewire and such. Some tasks simply cannot be done with open source but there are lots of little applications - like video editing and 3d. Don't hesitate to call if you can't figure it out.
