Telling Me A Story

I downloaded the audiobook of Lord of the Rings last night.

I wanted to see how I did with an audiobook since I've never listened to one before.

So far, it's strange. I'm not sure if I like someone else personifying Tom Bombadil for me.

We'll see...

The reader makes all the difference in the world. Best audiobook I ever heard was "Wizard and Glass," by Stephen King.

Which audiobook? I have the set of the BBC Radio production from 1991, and it's incredible although very abridged.

Also, hi!

Mmm, I'm not sure which one. It's set to background music from the movie, which is sort of obnoxious. But there's a proper British fellow reading it.

Hi back! Call me sometime and give me a good number to reach you at.
