Because I sincerely believe that LiveJournals are for angsty whining about the unfairness of life, for ruminations on those we once loved (or once loved us), for drama -- drama imagined and created and unintentional and motivated and designed and implemented -- for me to do (parentheticals) and the --double dash-- and the lists of this and that and

I think people (myself included) occassionally get too concerned about what their LJ "audience's" opinion is of their LJ.
I was imagining a tune to the song lyrics you Ctrl+V'd into this entry because I've never heard the song before.
Also relevant:
It's a perfect day for letting go
for setting fire to bridges, boats, and other dreary worlds you know
and let's get happy.
It's a perfect day for making out
to wake up with a smile without a doubt to
burst, scream, giggleblissskipjump sing and shout:
'let's get happy!'
"But it's much too late," you say, "for doing this now,"
"We should have done it before,"
it just goes to show
how wrong you can be
and how you really should know
that it's never too late
to get up aaaaaaaaaaaand GO!
It's a cute song :)

I find myself missing my "old-school LJ friends list" -- that is, the very occasional Teresa post, me crying over bs2k4 and being propped up by those in the same spot, you, you, you, it being fun and somehow important ... not that it's unfun or unimportant now, it's just different. I have thoughts I think that I maybe want to share, but most of the time it's working out somewhat better to just sit down and talk to (or send an email to) someone about the world and life and stuff than to post it out to the internet and get no response. I'm not sure, as usual, if this says what I want it to say but I appreciate your comment.
