Oh yeah, most definitely. Though I am not sure how Ezi will go from here, he has suffered a number of betrayals and abandonment from people he regarded as friends and comrades. But he's an old elf, to him, all these betrayals, abandonment and separation from his most beloved Dynast are all just scars to bear as he moves on. So he'd just cry inside and next day he will feel better and move on to find something better, take all this sadness in stride.
