Don't people make big public announcement.. after they officially make it into Olympics team? It's kinda funny to make a press conference for er, trying, I have to say :).

YAY! I'm actually excited about this. I haven't been watching the competitions because I often disagree with the judges (not a Chan fan), and hate the scoring system. But now I'll have to watch - just to see him skate.

Awe, we finally get a good look at his wedding ring. Also, his hair. It defies the laws of physics!

I really hope that this gets more people to watch skating. Although that's not easy these days; the only way to watch competitions in America that aren't US Nats is to buy a subscription to icenetwork.com, or find a crappy stream somewhere. Or just wait for the programs to get uploaded to Youtube. :/

Thanks, I think it's great for the fans and well, that he says "1st place, 20th place, it doesn’t matter. My own personal feelings will be completely fulfilled just to compete” is the most important since he should be realistic.

Yay! I'm so excited to cheer for him and see him compete. Since I didn't become a fan (or even know who he was) until I saw him in the Vancouver Olympics, I've regretted so much that I missed everything and never got to support him in competition. Plus I'm glad for him that he will not have to wonder what could have been, and I'm proud of his courage <3
