Now, I don't know about you, but I'm loving that everyone seems to be loving that Johnny's coming back. For instance, this bit that ran right smack dab in the middle of the Nationals coverage yesterday. Can I tell you how much I'm looking forward to any fluff they make in the future? Because I am.

I love that now USFSA now has basically no choice but to promote him, lolol. I love Jeremy and Adam and I wish they got more recognition outside of skating for being as awesome/adorable as they are, but Johnny's the one who will bring public attention back to figure skating. Not even Evan and his Olympic gold medal are as big a draw, and anyone remember how USFS was promoting Evan, saying he'd be at Skate America before he'd even made a decision on whether or not he was going (and then decided not to go)? They can't bank on Evan anymore, so now...Johnny's their best bet. Oh, sweet irony. Nothing fills me with glee more than Johnny trolling fucking America with his furs and glitter and husband, hahaha.

Yeah, Johnny wants to help GET them their exposure... that's the beautiful thing about it.
I want to say that USFS learned their lesson with both Worlds last year, and their failed promotion/contract with Evan. You can really use Evan to get more people into skating, as he's ... well, he is what skating is currently. They need someone like Johnny.
A++ on his trolling. They need him far more than he'll ever need them :>

I think that internationally, it'll be the usual crap shoot, especially going up against Patrick, and now Javier is getting really strong, and there's still Daisuke and everyone else to contend with, but he maybe has a shot at one or two more National titles--definitely National medals--as long he doesn't headcase. Johnny + Jeremy + Adam, in any combination, would be the most perfectest American men's podium ever.
