"Stone Roses". It's a melancholic, but mature song, not in emo style. And the lyrics speak of lost illusions and sadness.

Since you said that you were silent and moody and also a bit depressed and nervous I was thinking Tokyo Sling since your calm but all hell can break lose which reminded me of the lyrics :-
