After 17 years H&R Block decided to close the office I work in. Apparently, we weren't profitable enough. The manner we found out was when one of my co-workers drove by and saw the office wasbarren; everything was emptied out. A few days later, the Block signage was removed from the building. I e-mailed the District Manager to ask him about it.

I wish you all the best in the new office! I'm sure all the regular clients will be hunting you down - once you find a person who does excellent work, you want to keep in touch with them, any way possible. *smile*

Was cleaning out the contacts list of an old e-mail account, and ran across e-sama's. I hope he and the chibis (one married already, isn't it?) are well and happy; please send him warmest regards from the Philippines.

Sorry about the way you learned they'd decided to close - a rather shoddy way of treating people, I'd say. But best of luck with "relocating".
